38th Parallel was a Christian rock band formed in Ames, Iowa. MembersMark Jennings - Vocals Nate Rippke - Vocals Jason Munday - Guitars Jeff Barton - Bass guitar Aaron Nordyke - Drums Their album Turn the Tideswas released in 2002 on Squint Entertainment. Their most famous song is Horizon. Following the disbandment of 38th Parallel, singer Nate Rippke formed the classic rock band Sons of the Republic. Drummer Aaron Nordyke and guitarist Jason Munday went on to form the Harry-Potter themed electronica group Ministry of Magic.
